‘ I see friends shaking hands, saying, how do you do? They’re really saying I love you. I hear babies cry, I watch them grow. They’ll learn much more than I’ll ever know…. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.’
Don’t you hate it when other drivers cut you off in traffic? You want to lay on the horn and give them a piece of your mind….
Well, that was the initial plan for all A2 girls when I first joined you. All I wanted to do was to lay on the
horn and give you a piece of my mind. With all the blatant stares and unwavering glances I kept seeing anytime I turned around, the first scary thought that flashed upon my mind was ‘how was I ever going to develop a lasting relationship with these girls?
Or they were surprised to a girl in a long lacy skirt, gypsy top, waist coat, tussled belt, feathered and beaded necklace or my suede boots. Hmm, ‘wei na monhu bi da? …… shine your eyes…’ they had just felt and been in the presence of a beautifully blossomed buttercup.
The name is Freda Nyame. I’m 17 and was born on the 23rd of January. I like swimming and horse riding and I would love to be a solicitor, corporate lawyer, stylist, investigative officer (CSI) or maybe join the CIA. Don’t tell me it’s a far-fetched dream cos it’s gonna be fulfilled. Ya heard!!
I have sulty eyes… ayem.. you better look for that word in dictionary. Some of you girls told me I could solicit enough funds to establish a home for the under privileged. Thanks to all who believe and have the faith that I can be the next Angelina Jolie.
I admire people who never let anyone convince them that they can’t be what God says they can be and that’s my philosophy. Hoping to meet you all in Legon or at Harvard School of Law.
Don’t forget to keep in touch with me cos I will send y’all special tickets to my movie premiere in Hollywood and a wedding invitation which is forthcoming at the Caribbean Islands.
Don’t forget this – Don’t let the foolishness of others side swipe you on your way to responsible living….. Yeii me.
